Free Fall Eight Stories at Winsport!


Some family came in from out of town, and wanted to check out the SkyLuge run at Winsport/Canada Olympic Park (which is a great fun BTW), but it reminded me that another attraction was due to open that weekend – the Free Fall! (

The Free Fall is a short walk off an eight-story platform, with a bungee-style cord and harness. You experience a few seconds of real, full free fall before the supports kick in and gently lower you to the ground! It’s part of the tower they built for the zip line down from the ski lifts. It’s only $25, and wouldn’t you know it, there was no lineup when we arrived!

The climb to the top doesn’t take that long, and before you know it, your toes are on the edge, and all you have to do is take one little step…
