DIY KFC Gravy Candle

So, I saw this story ( come out this morning, and I knew I would have to work fast to get something out before everyone else!

Seems that KFC is selling a limited quantity of gravy-scented candles, but only in the UK. Well, I’m not in the UK, so the only way for me to get myself a gravy candle would be to make one myself!

My candle is made from duck fat – yes, I could have made it from wax, but this seemed more fitting. The original eleven herbs and spices are in there, of course – salt, thyme, basil, oregano, celery salt, black pepper, mustard, paprika, garlic salt, ground ginger, and white pepper – along with some flour and butter to simulate the rue smell that you get with gravy.

This was a fun one-day project, and I hope you enjoy it!
