DIY Halloween Bane Safety Mask

I’ve been making masks for the household lately – nothing fancy, just simple ones that you can put a filter into – and I thought, hey, why not do a Halloween costume design that also provides a bit of protection?

Of course, Bane is going to be a popular choice this year, but I wanted a Bane mask that would actually act as a barrier mask, and would be 100% machine washable – no plastic bits. Through a bit of trial and error, I came up with this design. I know it’s not perfect, but it’s good enough for the time (only a few hours) and materials (just scraps from the sewing bin).

If you have any other character masks you’d like to see, drop a comment below!
