Custom Delivery Sign with Sonoff 4Ch WiFi Switch

Whenever we have an Uber come to pick us up, Skip the Dishes bring us dinner, or Drizly bring us some adult beverages, the drivers seem to have a hard time knowing which house is ours. So, I thought a light-up sign would help them to find their way. But of course, I don’t want just any old sign – it’s gotta work with my Google Home setup. So, I go a Sonoff WiFi switch ( for about $25 on Amazon, and wired it up to display the logo of whichever gig economy driver is coming to see us.

This was a great way to test these DIY WiFi switches, which let you make anything in your house into a smart home companion! I’m not an electrician, but I was able to set this up pretty easily!
